If you know me, you know that sleep is EVERYTHING to me. If I do not sleep well, or enough, I suffer (as do those around me).
Sleep is one of the top Pillars of Health. When we sleep, our body gets to work repairing, sorting our mental load and enables us to be better, emotionally regulated humans throughout the day.

What happens while we sleep:
The brain gets cleaned up and organized, flushing toxins, sorting our memories and preparing for new input.
The physical body has a time for rest and repair and our immune system becomes stronger.
Our emotions get sorted and the sleep aids in emotional regulation that decreases emotional instability and irritability.
As adults, the optimal time for sleep is 7-8 hours a night or quality sleep in which one falls asleep easily, stays asleep and wakes feeling refreshed and ready.
Studies show that participation in structured Health Coaching can lead to improved sleep outcomes. Participants who actively engage in Health Coaching often create improved lifestyle choices and patterns, which in turn result in better sleep. Our sleep is impacted by everything we do or do not do from physical activity, nutrition, stress, to environmental factors like surroundings or screens. Each small choice adds up to how we will sleep tonight.
Are you looking to improve your sleep? I would love to work alongside you to sweeter dreams!
